About us
Sompong Thai Cooking School was established in 2008 by Auntie Sompong and her niece, Teacher Koy.
After many years in the restaurant business, our family decided to open a Thai cooking school. We started small, using the space in front of our family home as our first kitchen. As more guests came to cook with us, we gradually opened more space and grew into the cooking school you see today.
From the beginning, our family has always believed in warm, friendly service. We want our guests to enjoy authentic Thai food while feeling comfortable and at home.
Our classes are hands-on, friendly, and easy to follow. We share our knowledge of Thai ingredients, traditional cooking techniques, and the flavors we know and love.
Over the years, we have welcomed guests from around the world. Some have even returned to cook with us again, and we are always happy when guests tell us that coming back to Sompong feels like visiting friends and family in Thailand.
We hope that what you learn in our kitchen will stay with you long after your trip and help you enjoy cooking Thai food for your family and friends when you return home.
